Descaling Guide
This descaling guide has been created for Saeco automatics. To descale a machine you will need a sachet of Saeco decaling powder. To order a packet of four sachets email us or visit our order page.
Step by step guide
Dissolve the contents of one descaling satchet in the half filled watertank of your machine
and press your hot water button to run water through steam arm into a jug.
When exhausted, recycle back into tank and repeat.
Replace with clean water and repeat twice to flush system clean.
Enter Menu (hold down pre-ground coffee button) and scroll (with either
large cup or medium cup butttons) to SIGN DESCALE, Press ENTER and scroll to
YES.
This will reset the machine cycle to remind you when it is due to descale again.
Scroll to EXIT and machine is ready for use once again.
